Join us for our upcoming Welcome Back to School “Empowerment Line” on August 19th at P.B. Youngs Sr. Elementary! We’re excited to gather as a community to cheer on our students as they head back to school.

The Brilliant Mind Book Club is a dynamic and engaging reading group designed to inspire a love for literature and intellectual growth among readers from underperforming schools and area.

The My Brother's Keeper Program is a mentorship and support initiative dedicated to empowering young men of color by addressing the unique challenges they face.

The F.I.T.N.E.S.S. Project (Financial Improvement Tools Needed for Education and Success & Sustainability) is a comprehensive program designed to empower parents and guardians by providing the tools and resources needed to achieve financial stability and long-term success.

Christmas in the NeighborHOOD

Stop The Violence Pop Up

This is a collaborative effort to bring front line awareness to the increased violence epidemic in communities across Hampton Roads. These events are used to connect community members with resources & provide promotional material.

2022 Holiday Giving Campaign

Make a donation to our Annual Toy Drive. Each year we pick a school to adopt and watch as Santa delivers them toys before the XMAS break. Your generosity can go a long way when you skip that coffee and make a student smile for the holidays!!

Norfolk Nighthawks

This program provides basketball open runs and league play during the 9pm-1am weekend hours for young at risk adult.

Sports Day

Community day focusing on activity, involvement & violence reduction. This event will serve members food, resource information and physical activity.

Teen Trunk or Treat

We are excited to host our teen trunk or treat which will serve as an opportunity to bring resources to at risk teenagers who live in the St. Paul quadrant. Attending families will be feed and have a chance to engage with elected officials and other resource organizations in the area.

ReckLeague December Toy Drop

Join us in our annual season of giving mission where we collect and provide toys to children from at risk schools and communities. This year PB Youngs was our target. Donations are accepted all year for out December drop!

Reck League Summer Block Party

Our Summer Block Party will take place on Sept. 3 in front of the Youngs Park Rec Center on Whitaker Lane. This event will cap off our summer program and serve as a fundraiser for our inaugural Reck League Scholarship Giveaway. Reck League T.R.A.I.N. Summer Program

In partnership with NRHA, Reck League has created a 10 week summer program that youth targets residents from neighborhoods

Xmas Dream Family Sponsorship

Your contributions will help us sponsor 20 families this holiday season. All chosen low income families with a school age child, will receive a full Christmas meal and presents. Each gift package will be delivered by Santa.

"GBG" Mentor Group

Girls Being Girls is a mentoring group led by successful women that teach young teenage women the importance of maintaining self worth, social skills, confidence, etc. in hopes of producing the next wave of great women. Contact us to support, donate or be a mentor.

Aim High Tablet Training Program

this program provides children with the building blocks to success. Participants receive dinner, a free tablet, and introduction to Information Technology and computer training skills.

St. Pauls Community Thanksgiving Dinner

This annual event provides a warm Thanksgiving meal to low income families in the downtown Norfolk communities. We take this opportunity to share our table, our resources and support to those who are less fortunate

Know Your Rights

Know Your Rights engagements events held quarterly to teach youth adults the dos and donts of police interaction, what rights you have and how to make contact easier.

Halloween Fest

Halloween Fest that brings to candy and excitement to young kids. This event includes everything from goodies, games and resources.
