Hygiene Heroes is Reck League’s initiative dedicated to empowering youth through hygiene awareness, access, and confidence-building support. We work directly in schools, churches, and neighborhoods to provide students with the essential tools they need to show up confident, prepared, and ready to succeed.
For many youth in under-resourced communities, access to basic hygiene and grooming is a barrier that impacts school attendance, self-esteem, and overall well-being. Hygiene Heroes exists to remove those barriers—because when students feel good about themselves, they are more engaged, more confident, and more likely to thrive.
This year, we are on a mission to provide 1,000 free haircuts and hygiene kits to students and youth across our community, ensuring every young person has access to the confidence and dignity they deserve.
